10,413 sm (Expansion)
3,205 sm (Renovation)

This major renovation and expansion of the Quentin N. Burdick U.S Courthouse in downtown Fargo was completed in 1998. The design solution seeks to convey a positive and dignified image of the U.S. Judicial System; ensure facility security and the safety of building occupants; provide maximum flexibility in courtroom design; and address issues of work place quality. The addition houses four new courtrooms, six judges' chambers, and a law library. The renovation includes the U.S Attorney's Office and Probation Court. This project was completed in association with an architecture/construction management firm in Fargo.
